Duke Gets Patrick Tape From Columbia

Over the weekend Duke had the opportunity to get former Harvard Guard Seth Towns but he decided to return home to Columbus Ohio and continue his career at Ohio State.

However,

Duke did get a graduate transfer from Columbia.

Who is he? His name is Patrick Tape and he’s 6-10 and a Forward who is from Charlotte North Carolina.

Tape sat out this past season while finishing up his coursework at Columbia. He tore a ligament in his toe over the summer and then aggravated the injury before the season began, which would have forced him to miss at least a few games. Instead of playing just a portion of his final season of college basketball, Tape decided to leave the team and preserve his final season of eligibility. “according to an article by Jeff Borzello on espn.com

Tape averaged 11.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in the 2018-19 season. He's ranked in the top 10 of ESPN's graduate transfer rankings. “according to an article by Jeff Borzello on espn.com.
