    Unfortunately though the start to AJ Griffin’s freshman season on the hardwood at Duke has to be put on hold after spraining his knee in practice on Friday.

    Because AJ Griffin is going to be out for an indefinite amount of time.

    If AJ Griffin has to be sidelined to begin freshman season because of knee injury Duke, Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski who is coaching his last season in 2021-2022 before Jon Scheyer who is currently the Associate Head Coach takes over as Head Coach in April 2023 would be depending on Wendell Moore more in the early going if AJ Griffin misses games.

    Their one exhibition game is on November 30, 2021 when they host Georgia State before they tip-off the regular season verses Kentucky on November 9, 2021 in the State Farm Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.
