Duke, Virginia Out Georgia Tech In The Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Championship Game

Yesterday Duke and Florida State’s quarterfinal at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament was cancelled!

Where?

Greensboro North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum!

Why?

Because a Duke Basketball player who is a walk -on has tested positive for the coronavirus. ““according to Jeff Goodman’s Twitter account”

Tonight top seed Virginia and number four seed Georgia Tech were supposed to play their semifinal game!

Where?

Greensboro North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum!

But that isn’t happening!

Why?

The game was canceled because of a positive coronavirus test with in the Virginia program!

So what does that mean for the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Championship game in Greensboro?

It means Georgia Tech is in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship game and waiting on their opponent which is going either Florida State who is a two seed or North Carolina who is a six seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

This question remains though

Will we be able to finish the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament and crown an Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Champion?

The way the last twenty four hours have gone we can only hope.
