Duke lost their first Atlantic Coast Conference game of the regular season on Saturday on the hardwood because they lost to Miami 74-76 in Durham.

The inbounds pass went to freshman Trevor Keels, who had a look from deep but the shot did not fall as Miami (13-3, 5-0) escaped with the road victory.

Duke Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski had this to say about Duke’s 76-74 loss to Miami to David Shumate who is the voice of the Blue Devils. “We’re not where I hope we’re going to be, we played a fast, good & older team tonight & the story of the game was the turnovers. We played well at times & had an opportunity to win but you have to finish though and we didn’t finish.”
