Syracuse comes into the only meeting of the regular season with NC State with a record of 10-11 4-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and are ninth in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings because unlike NC State Syracuse won their previous game 94-72 on Saturday night over Wake Forest in Syracuse New York.

In Syracuse’s 94-72 win over Wake Forest Buddy Boeheim's season-best 30 points led Syracuse to a 94-72 victory against Wake Forest in the Dome in front of the largest crowd in college basketball this season.

A gathering of 23,194 watched the Orange (10-11, 4-6 ACC) rebound from a three-point halftime deficit with an 18-3 run early in the second half.
