As Duke makes up their game at Clemson tonight that was postponed because of their Covid 19 issues are they, Paolo Banchero, AJ Griffin going to rebound from their 68-69 loss to Virginia?

Right now I don’t the answer to that question!

What I do know though is they are going to be looking to rebound!

Why?

Duke lost by a point 68-69 to Virginia on Monday night in Durham in front of their home fans, spectators!

Why?

Duke who is ranked 7th in the AP Top 25 poll this squandered a 12 point lead then Virginia found Reece Beekman in the corner who hit a three pointer to give Virginia who unlike Duke isn’t ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll this week the 69-68 win with 1.1 seconds left in regulation.

Mark Williams had this to say about Duke’s 68-69 loss to Virginia!

Mark Williams had this to say about Virginia’s Reece Beekman as well as Reece Beekman’s game winner!

That’s on me said of the defensive breakdown that left Reece Beekman open. I lost Beekman I should have stayed with him off the in-bounds. He got open and knocked it down.

And Notre Dame topped Louisville 63-57 on Wednesday to move into first place.

Clemson comes into the game with a record of 12-11 4-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is eleventh in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings.

Why?

Because like Duke they lost their previous game but unlike Duke they lost to Duke’s tobacco road rival North Carolina 77-79 on Tuesday in Clemson South Carolina.

Why?

Clemson trailed by as many as five points. Then Clemson took four different one-point leads but couldn’t hold on the Tar Heels’ last offensive possession. Following a Brady Manek put-back layup, the Tigers had a shot at the victory, but a Collins 3-pointer fell short.
