Duke Is Closing Out Their Two Game Road Trip At Boston College This Evening

Duke is closing out their two game road trip at Boston College this evening.

Duke comes into the game ranked 7th in this AP Top 25 Poll and comes into the game with a record 20-4 while they are 10-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and are first in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings because they beat Clemson on Thursday in Clemson South Carolina 20-4 10-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is first in the standings because they beat Clemson 82-64.

In the Duke, Clemson game Trevor Keels who’s a freshman tied his career high with 25 points and added a career-best 11 rebounds as No. 7 Duke shot its way to a 82-64 victory at Clemson Thursday.

Mark Williams who is a sophomore contributed 16 points, was 8-8 shooting while Paolo Banchero who like Trevor Keels is a freshmen contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds, recorded his fifth double double in the last eight games.

Boston College comes into the game with a record of 9-13 while they are 4-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, eleventh in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings!

Why?

Because unlike Duke they lost their previous Atlantic Coast Conference game on Tuesday verses Syracuse 64-73 in Chestnut Hill Massachusetts.

In Boston College’s 64-73 loss to Syracuse Boston College  missed their first 10 from the field and their first 11 3-point shots and Swider made 3-pointers 44 seconds apart to give the Orangemen a double-digit lead with eight minutes left before halftime. Buddy Boeheim scored the first eight points - including two 3s - before Swider made another 3-pointer to cap an 11-4 spurt that made it 32-20 about four minutes later.

Zackery converted a three-point play to trim Boston College's deficit to seven points with 2:52 remaining but Girard answered with a 3-pointer and then went 6 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final 1:42.

Syracuse has won four in a row overall and seven straight against the Eagles. Swider, a 6-foot-9 transfer from Villanova, is averaging 17.3 points on 25-of-38 shooting, including 14 of 19 from 3-point range, over the last four games.

Syracuse outscored Boston College 14-4 from the foul line. Boston College who made 4-of-6 foul shots Tuesday, have made 32-of-38 free throws over the last four games while their opponents have hit 71 of 81 from the stripe.
