As Duke, Syracuse play their tonight they are matching up in Syracuse!

Duke comes into the game with a record of 24-4 14-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is first in the standings.

In Duke’s 65-61 win over Virginia Trevor Keels, Jeremy Roach who were teammates at St. Paul VI High School who are currently college teammates helped lead Duke to 65-61 win at Virginia on Wednesday along with AJ Griffin.

Trevor Keels was 5-8 on field goals, 1-4 from 3 point range, scored 13 points.

Jeremy Roach was 6-7 on field goals 3-3 from 3 point range scored 15 points.

AJ Griffin was 4-11 on field goals 3-7 from 3 point range, scored 15 points

When Duke had a 52-51 lead AJ Griffin scored Duke’s next eight points. Then with 1.8 seconds left and Duke up two points AJ Griffin hit two free throws to seal the win.

Jeremy Roach had this to say about his performance at Virginia!

Just taking what the defense gives me,”I just stayed aggressive and confident . I think that’s the biggest key for this game. We know this is going to be a tough- nosed team . They guard . They are physical So it was just taking what the defense gives me.”

Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski who was honored before the game tipped off in Charlottesville because he is retiring after the season had this to say about Jeremy Roach’s performance.

I really thought the key guy for us in the game was Jeremy. Not that he stopped Kihei Clark but he defended him and his verve on offense really lifted us . Jeremy’s play was the differentiator.
