I would say that is a possibility because Cam Hays who is a sophomore a guard has entered the transfer portal and 247 sports was the first to report the news and then a representative of athletics at NC State confirmed it.
Though, Cam Hays isn’t the only NC State player who has put his in the transfer portal as forward Jaylon Gibson who like Cam Hays is a sophomore and unlike Cam Hays is a forward.
