Tyrese Proctor was 7-11 on field goals, 2-3 on 3 pointers to go along 7 rebounds , 4 assists, 22 points. Sean Stewart was 7-9 on field goals to go along with 10 rebounds, 16 points.

Tyrese was terrific tonight,”It was his best game he’s played this year and, maybe, period. In the last three games, he’s at 14 assists and no turnovers, which is not an easy thing to do, especially with how much the ball is in his hands. He was still aggressive to score at the same time and then he’s defending like crazy on the other end.”

9th ranked Duke is now going to prepare to wrap up the Blue Devil Challenge Friday when they host Southern Indiana who lost to Bucknell on Monday November 20, 2023 67-56 who Duke hosted in the inaugural game of Blue Devil Challenge on Friday November 17, 2023 and beat them 90-60 as Kyle Filipowski , Mark Mitchell, Jared McCain, Tyrese Proctor led the way for 9th ranked Duke offensively scoring 10 20, 17, 13 points.

Kyle Filipowski 3-4 on field goals 0-1 on 3 pointers to go along with 6 rebounds, 1 assists , 2 steals, 10 points. Though, Kyle Filipowski’s night didn’t come without an injury scare in the 1st half with 4:04 left as Kyle Filipowski rolled his right ankle during an offensive possession for Duke.

The good news?

Kyle Filipowski returned for Duke when the 2nd half of the game began against Bucknell.

Mark Mitchell was 8-13 on field goals 1-3 on 3 pointers to go along 6 rebounds, 2 assists , 1 block 20 points.

Jared McCain was 5-8 on field goals 5-7 on 3 pointers to go along with 10 rebounds, 2 assists , 17 points.

Tyrese Proctor was 5-8 on field goals like his teammate fellow guard Jared McCain though unlike Jared McCain Tyrese Proctor was 3-6 on 3 pointers to go along with 3 rebounds, 4 assists , 1 steal, 13 points.

Jeremy Roach was 3-5 on field goals 2-3 on 3 pointers to go along with 1 steal , 9 points.

Following Duke beating Bucknell 90-60 Friday in Durham Duke Head Coach Jon Scheyer had this to say about Kyle Filipowski!

“He’s not a guy that usually stays down,“so when that happens you’re thinking for the game, of course, then also you don’t know if it’s long term or whatever it is. I’m just thankful he’s okay.”

I don’t need to tell you guys he’s a big part of what we do and a big focal point,”

“I’m just happy he’s okay though.”
