Randolph Childress was a point guard for Wake Forest in 1990-1991 1992-1993 1993-1994 1994-1995 where he played in 120 games averaging 18.4 points , 3.0 rebounds , 3.9 assists was 3x All ACC 2x All ACC Tourney ACC Tourney Most Valuable Player. Following playing collegiately for Wake Forest Randolph Childress was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round as the 19th overall pick in 1995 NBA Draft where he would play two seasons for Portland 1 season for Detroit in 1995-1996 1996-1997 where he would play in 51 games averaging 2.4 points , 0.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists. Randolph Childress would then later return to his college alma mater and be an Assistant Coach from 2013-2021 before he decided to leave the coaching staff to consider other professional opportunities. At the time Randolph Childress had this to say! I love coaching and Wake Forest and I treasure the relationships my family and I have with Deacon Nation.
