On Tuesday January 27th, 2023 senior guard Jeremy Roach returned to the court for 12th ranked Duke from a knee injury as they played at Louisville.

Though,

Senior guard Jeremy Roach return didn’t last long as his return was brief as he only played 17 minutes before sustaining yet another injury with 5:25 remaining in 1st half . Though, with Jeremy coming back into Duke, Louisville game briefly maybe his injury isn’t as severe. Shelden Williams said on Bleav In Duke Podcast that it sucks to come back from an injury then have another injury the next game they play Shelden Williams said Jeremy Roach as hopefully its not that bad and he’s a wolverine and can recover a lot faster and the fact that we’re having these problems right now I just don’t like it as we have to get ready for ACC Tournament though we have to control what we can control and said that Tyrese Proctor needs to elevate his game and other players need to step up. Tuesday (At Louisville) was a good sign as he was 9-16 on field goals, 4-10 on 3 pointers to go along with 4 assists, 24 points.

Following Clemson’s 78-67 win on Saturday January 20, 2024 Terrific performance by our team. Played really good on both ends. Shot it well which always helps. I thought our activity level defensively was good, created some turnovers. Rebounded well. Every once in a while you have a game like this during the season. And a game that normally goes the other way like this. Proud of our guys, bounced back. Now we've got to go take it on the road."

You want to be playing meaningful games in March, and part of my message this was week was I put up a calendar from Richmond to Duke when we were 7-0, that was when we were doing two-a-days during the break for a lot of it. Told them that the reason they're positioned where they are right now is because for that five-week stretch all they thought about was Clemson basketball, and we had an incredible five weeks. And as you get back to school and a lot of things happen and distractions, you might get side-tracked for a week or two. It happens to most teams. But we're still positioned to play for something special, and we've started off well with the first step on that, and now we have to play well on Saturday."
