Following Virginia Tech’s 64-59 loss to then 18th ranked Pittsburgh Virginia Tech Head Coach Mike Young had this to say!
I thought our team played great I thought Jaden Schutt played better then he did Wednesday. We need to start playing better and we only scored one point the rest of the way. We couldn’t get into action. We hurt Pittsburgh in the post with regularity. I thought we were physical. Tyler Johnson is growing up and you’ve got be physical a top 25 team in my mind. We had 17 turnovers. It’s really bad basketball. Tyler Johnson was more comfortable, aggressive he’s eager to help this team with there going to be dips here. I admire Coach Capel lets have an up tick you can’t turn the ball over 17 times it’s embarrassing. I have to do a better job at coaching it. Our point guard has to be better. Our transition defense was better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpoqUPDBp28
