Duke Falls Short To Virginia Tech

Saturday Duke fell to Virginia Tech 24-21 as Duke quarterback red shirt freshman  Daniel Jones was 18-31 for 148 yards.

On the offensive side of the ball Shawn Wilson and Joseph Ajeigbe had 76-52 yards on the ground. Virginia Tech go the better end of the total yards as they collected 399  yards to Duke's 375. Duke has a short preparation week as they welcome in state, blue blood rival North Carolina to Durham for a Thursday night game at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade. Kick-off is set for 7:30pm. The game will be televised on ESPN.
