New Season , New Quarterback, Same Head Coach , Same Expectations

A season ago Duke won eight regular season games and got their first bowl win since 1961 against Indiana in overtime 44-41 at the pinstripe bowl at Yankee Stadium home of the New York Yankees on a Ross Martin field goal. 

Turn the page a year later to a new season , a new quarterback in red shirt freshmen Daniel Jones because Thomas Sirk tore his Achilles again after trying to prepare and be ready for Duke's season opener and he is now out for the season. 

Thomas Sirk may be out for the year but the expectations are still the same to win games , to get to the ACC championship in Charlotte,  get six wins and become bowl eligible for the fifth straight year under David Cutcliffe and how about win another bowl game? 

Duke has come a long way since David Cutcliffe arrived in 2008 from Tennessee and Duke can only go up from here!

Duke kicks-off the 2016 season against NC Central on Saturday September 3 at 6pm against NC Central at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade.
