Daniel Jones To Return As Duke Takes On Virginia Tech

It was three weeks ago that Daniel Jones left the fourth quarter in Duke’s win at Northwestern after injuring his clavicle on his non throwing side.

Tonight as Duke opens up Atlantic Coast Conference play in Durham the starting quarterback will return.

Jones has missed Duke’s last two games – wins over Baylor and N.C. Central – after suffering a fractured left clavicle against Northwestern on September 8 and undergoing surgery the following day.  In two games this season, Jones has completed 29-of-39 (.744) pass attempts for 389 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions while rushing 12 times for 40 yards (3.33) and one touchdown. “according to http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=211773983&DB_OEM_ID=4200

Central (55-13).  In the two wins, Harris completed 27-of-57 (.474) passes for 376 yards with six touchdowns and zero interceptions while rushing 19 times for 117 yards (6.15) and one touchdown. “according to http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=211773983&DB_OEM_ID=4200
