NC State Heads To Massachusetts To Take On Boston College

After hosting Syracuse for a Thursday night game in North Carolina’s state capital NC State will next play a game on Saturday when they head to Chestnut Hill Massachttes where they will take on Boston College.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • AJ Dillon rushed 22 times for 118 yards, leading a BC running game that gained 259 yards on the afternoon. He also hauled in a 36-yard pass.

  • Dennis Grosel was 9-for-24 for 111 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing six times for 43 yards. The redshirt sophomore quarterback came into the game early in the second quarter to replace injured starter Anthony Brown. Brown had started the game 6-for-7 for 193 yards.

  • Eagles receivers compiled a season-best 304 yards on the day, led by Hunter Long's 99 yards on three catches, including a 72-yard touchdown. Zay Flowers (72 yards) and Kobay White (38 yards) also had three catches apiece. White also added a TD haul.

  • Defensively, Max Richardson logged 14 tackles - 12 solo and two for a loss.
