NC State And Syracuse Return To Action In Raleigh

Both NC State and Syracuse will return to action on Thursday night in North Carolina’s state capital after each team had a bye week last week.

NC State comes into the game with a record of 3-2 while they’re 0-1 in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference and sixth in the division while Syracuse comes into the game with a record of 3-2 while they’re 0-1 in the Atlantic Division of Atlantic Coast Conference and in last place in the division.

In this game both teams will look to get their first win in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

As for NC State’s previous game, They last played on September 28th down in Tallahassee where they were beat by Florida State by a score of 31-13.

The scoring started with a trio of field goals by the two teams. Florida State finally broke through with the game's first touchdown with 4:59 left in the first half. The Wolfpack had a season-best eight sacks in the game, the most for a Wolfpack team since also posting eight against Syracuse in 2014. Unlike NC State, Syracuse won their previous game as they dominated Holy Cross on September 28th.

Syracuse signal-caller Tommy DeVito threw four touchdown passes for the second straight Saturday to lead the Orange to a 41-3 victory against Holy Cross on Sept. 28 in the Dome.
