Quentin Harris Is Duke's Next Starting Quarterback
Recently the NFL Draft took place at Nissan Stadium that is home to the Tennessee Titans.
Daniel Jones who was Duke’s starting quarterback last season was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the New York Giants as the sixth pick.
With Daniel Jones taking his talents to the next level this question comes to mind. Who will be Duke’s starting quarterback during the 2019 season?
Head Coach David Cutcliffe who has made Duke relevant again on the grid iron has a couple different options he could go with Quentin Harris who is a redshirt senior who last season took the place of Daniel Jones after he injured his clavicle in Duke’s game at Northwestern. . In 11 career games, has completed seven-of-13 (.538) pass attempts for 73 yards and one TD while rushing 32 times for 80 yards (2.50) and two TDs ... has played 85 career snaps. “according to http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=210182490&DB_OEM_ID=4200&Q_SEASON=2019 During Duke’s spring game Quentin Harris rushed for two touchdowns and threw for a third score to highlight Duke’s 65-snap scrimmage in the program’s annual Spring Showcase or he could go with Chris Katrenick who is a redshirt sophomore and during Duke’s spring game found Darrell Harding Jr. for a 37-yard completion. “according to https://247sports.com/college/duke/Article/senior-signal-caller-quentin-harris-makes-plays-in-spring-game-simulation-130928114/
I think that David Cutcliffe will go with Quentin Harris who is a redishirt senior as Duke’s starting quarterback this season and here is why. Quentin Harris was Daniel Jones backup last season when he was injured and I believe Quentin Harris has more experience then Chris Katrenick who was in a reserve role last season and who is a red shirt sophomore. “according to http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=211564092
