It's Your Turn Daniel Jones!

Eli Manning recently hung up his helmet , jersey and cleats and called it a career after sixteen seasons in the Big Apple. So now it’s time to talk about his successor.

Who is he?

His name is Daniel Jones. He’s 6-5 22 years old, he’s from Charlotte North Carolina and went to college at Duke where his head coach was David Cutcliffe who also coached Eli Manning at Ole Miss.

Daniel Jones was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft as the sixth pick by the New York Giants.

After week two of the season and an 0-2 start the rookie out of Duke took over as the New York Giants starting quarterback.

In his rookie season in the Big Apple .

Jones went 3-9 in his first season with the Giants, completing 61.9% of his passes for 3,027 yards, 24 TD and 12 INT for an 87.7 passer rating. Eli Manning had this to say about Daniel Jones during his retirement press conference.

"Yeah, I think there's a bright future," Manning said. "There's obviously, I try to think of the positive moments and great memories, and I have a lot of them. I have a lot of fond memories of being in the meeting rooms and being with the coaches and being around Daniel and Alex Tanney in the quarterback room.
