Louisville like NC State is a member of the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference!

Though,

The Atlantic Coast Conference won’t have divisions in football much longer as the Atlantic Coast Conference became the latest conference to get rid of divisions in favor of a new scheduling format Starting in 2023, the league announced it will move to a 3-5-5 format, in which each team has three permanent rivalry games played annually, with the other 10 opponents rotating on an every-other-year basis.

The plans for a shift back to a single-division format gained steam during the league's spring meetings in May, with the ACC hoping to improve its TV inventory of marquee games and set up a league championship game that would include its two best teams annually. Interestingly, the new format would not have altered the teams playing in the ACC title game in seven of the past eight years.

Louisville comes into the game with a record of 6-4 3-4 in the Atlantic Division of Atlantic Coast Conference because like NC State they lost their previous game by a score of 31-16. Though, unlike NC State they lost to 10th ranked Clemson who is going to be playing the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship in October in Charlotte at the home of the Carolina Panthers of NFL where they’re going to be facing, opposing North Carolina who won the Coastal Division.

Kick off is set 3:30pm from Cardinal Stadium!

The game is going to be televised on Regional Sports Network because Virginia, Coastal Carolina game was canceled.
