As a freshman in 2019,

Tomari Fox who is a Defensive End played in 12 games as a true freshman, starting against App State and Clemson • Had 15 total tackles, two QBH, 0.5 TFL and one forced fumble • Posted three tackles at Wake Forest • Tallied three tackles, a half TFL and a pressure versus App State in his first career start • Made three tackles against Clemson • Forced a fumble against Virginia.
As a sophomore in 2020,

Tomari Fox started all 12 games on the defensive line • All-ACC Academic Team selection • Had 46 total tackles, six tackles for loss, four sacks and three hurries • Opened the season with two sacks and three tackles against Syracuse • Had four tackles at Boston College • Notched five tackles and a sack against Virginia Tech • Came up with nine tackles at FSU • Registered a career-high 10 tackles and had a sack at Virginia • Had two hurries and two tackles at Duke • Came up with three tackles against No. 2 Notre Dame • Had three tackles in the Orange Bowl against Texas A&M.

As a junior in 2021,

Tomari Fox Appeared in 12 games and made two starts on the defensive line • Finished the season with 25 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and led the team with six hurries • Registered a pair of tackles, one TFL and a hurry in the season opener at Virginia Tech • Had three tackles against Georgia State • Came up with two tackles, a half sack and a hurry against Virginia • Notched a sack and two stops against Duke • Had a pair of tackles against Florida State • Recorded a career-high three hurries and had two tackles against Miami • Had three tackles against Wake Forest • Made one stop and had a hurry at Pittsburgh • Had a season-high five tackles at NC State.

Tomari Fox had this to say about his suspension!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to participate in the 2022 football season for reasons I cannot control," Fox said in a statement released by the school. "I'm disappointed in the decision, but I remain hopeful for the future. I will continue to give my all to Tar Heel Nation both on and off the field."
