Following Louisville’s 38-21 loss to Pittsburgh Louisville Head Coach Jeff Brohm

"I have to do a better job of getting us ready to play. We have to understand that every week is going to be a battle and if you don't do the little things right, execute, and play better than they do, then you're not going to win the game. That didn't happen today. In the first half, we got some things going early, then we seemed to stall. The ball hit the ground a lot. Luckily we recovered a few but then we started to turn the ball over. When we turn the ball over like that it's hard to overcome. We couldn't overcome it. We work on ball security every day but it's obviously not enough. That was the difference in the game. We have to regroup and understand that from here on out, the schedule gets tougher and every team will come ready to play. We have to get better. Give Pitt a lot of credit, we lost and they won. We need to do a better job."
