As NC State kicked off their 2024 season with 38-21 win Thursday in North Carolina’s state capital over Western Carolina in the 1st quarter NC State scored a touchdown as Kevin Concepion caught 17 yard pass from Grayson McCall , Kanoh Visett kicked, made extra point tying game up 7-7 . In 2nd quarter Kevin Concepcion caught 5 yard pass from Grayson McCall , Kanoah Vinsett made, kicked extra point tying game up at 14 . In the 3rd quarter Kanoh Visett kicked, made 46 yard field goal to put NC State back in front 17-14. Though, NC State being in front Western Carolina in the 3rd quarter would only be brief as Branson Adams would run for 17 yard touchdown , Christian Lowery would make extra point giving Western Carolina a 21-17 lead. Though, Western Carolina’s lead wouldn’t last as NC State would three touchdowns in 4th quarter as Kevin Concepcion would catch 35 yard pass from Grayson McCall , Kanoah Vinesett would kick, make extra point giving NC State a 24-21 lead. From there NC State would extend their lead as Jordan 31-21 38-21 as Jordan Waters would run for 7 yard touchdown , Kanoah Vinesett would kick, make extra point before Jordan Waters would run for 50 yard touchdown , Kanoah Vinsett would kick, make extra point.
