North Carolina improved to 2-0 on 2024 season as they beat Charlotte 38-20 Saturday in Chapel Hill.

As North Carolina beat Charlotte 38-20 in the first quarter Bryson Nesbit caught 30 yard pass from Connor Harrell for touchdown , Noah Burnette kicked, made the extra point giving North Carolina a 7-0 lead before Connor Harrell caught pass from Bryan Nesbit for 30 yard touchdown, Noah Burnette kicked, made extra point extending North Carolina’s lead over Charlotte 14-0 before Charlotte finally got on scoreboard with field goal making score 14-3 before North Carolina would extend their lead . In the second quarter Charlotte would get on scoreboard with yet another field goal as Kyle Cunanan would kick, make 20 yard field goal trimming North Carolina’s lead 14-6 before Connor Harrel would run for yard touchdown Noah Burnette would kick, make extra point extending North Carolina’s over Charlotte 21-6. In the 3rd quarter Charlotte would respond as Bryce Kennon would catch 5 yard pass from Deshawn Purdie Kyle Cunanan would kick, make extra point trimming North Carolina’s lead to 21-13, Though, from there it was all North Carolina as they would score two touchdowns, kick two field goals in 3rd quarter as Christian Hamilton would catch 58 yard pass from Connor Harrell , Noah Burnette would kick, make extra point extending North Carolina’s lead 28-13 before Noah Burnette would kick, make 44 yard field goal. In the 4th quarter Davion Gause would run for touchdown , Liam Boyd would kick, make extra point.

Following North Carolina beating Charlotte 38-20 North Carolina Head Coach Mack Brown had this to say!

“We won a game by a bunch of points and left a lot of points on the board,”

We were hitting the quarterback a lot early in the game and (Brown) was still making plays,”

“At some point, if you keep getting those shots, you’re going to get tired of them.

North Carolina is now going to prepare to play NC Central who unlike North Carolina has a record of 1-1 when they host them Saturday night in Chapel Hill.
