Phelps Sensational Start, Prado's Single Leads Marlines To Victory

On Friday night Marlins right hander David Phelps made his first start of the season on the road against the Rockies in a 5-3 Marlins win behind Martin Prado two run single to rally in the 9th. Phelps next start is August 10th first pitch is set for 12:10pm.  How will he do in only his second start in the rotation ? That question is yet to be answered but will be answered soon enough.

Phelps who is 5-5 with a 2.45 earn run average will go up against Giants right hander Jeff Samardzija who has a record of 9-8 with a 4.40 earn run average.
