Mark Teixera To Retire

It was announced today via ESPN Buster Olnely that Yankees first baseman Mark Teixera will retire at the end of the season because of injuries that have kept him off the field this season. His batting average this season is 198 with ten home runs and twenty seven runs batted in  "according to ESPN" 

What will the rest  of Teixera's final season bring? That question is yet to be answered but will be answered soon enough.
