New York Returns To The Bronx For Their Home Opener Against Tampa Bay

Today the New York Yankees will have their 2017 home opener when they host Tampa Bay. 

New York has a record of 2-4 to start the season and is fourth in the American League East standings. New York is coming off a 7-3 win on the road Sunday where they dealt Baltimore there first loss of the season at Camden Yards.  

 The 24 year -old right fielder Aaron Judge had something to do with the outcome of the game as he  hit a game-tying home run in the eighth inning and the Yankees rallied for four more in the ninth to post a 7-3 win on Sunday at Camden Yards. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has a record of 5-2 and is second in the American League East standings and is  coming off a 5-2 win over Toronto Sunday where right -hander Jake Odorizzi labored through a 25-pitch first inning, allowing a solo shot to Toronto slugger Josh Donaldson -- his eighth consecutive outing with a homer dating to 2016 -- and another run on a groundout from Troy Tulowitzki.
