New York who is a member of the American League East comes into the game with a record of 31-29!

Why?

Because they lost Sunday’s game to Boston by a score of 6-5!

Where?

Bronx New York!

Why?

Emotions were high in the New York, Boston finale of their three game series.

When?

Sunday night!

Where?

Bronx New York!

Why?

Because of a generous third pitch strike call.

Carlos Mendoza who is New York’s bench coach as well as Phil Nevin who is New York third base were tossed for arguing a generous third strike to pinch hitter Rougned Odor in the ninth inning.

By who?

Home Plate Umpire Gabe Morales!

Manger Aaron Boone had this to say about Carlos Mendoza’s ejection!

But he wasn’t only to voice his opinion on the call by home plate umpire Gabe Morales as Michael Kay who is a broadcaster for the Yes Network did as well!

How?

On Twitter and shared his thoughts about Gabe Morales and this is what Michael Kay had to say!

tIhink it’s tiring when losses are blamed on umpires calls because there is so much that goes on before and usually after but the strike 3 call on Odor was inexcusable and disgraceful. To make that call on national TV in the bottom of the ninth is ineptitude at its finest.

Morales’ full-count, called strike three against (Rougned) Odor was well off the plate and high — an easy ball four. But the pitch was called an inning-ending strike three, stranding runners on first and third with the game tied, 4-4. Gleyber Torres had just tied the game with an RBI double that scored Aaron Judge.

New York went to lose the finale of the three game series as well as their fourth straight by a score of 6-5.

Why?

Because New York’s rally came up short after after Gleyber Torres hit Matt Barnes 0-2 curveball to bring Aaron Judge home and tie the game at 4.
