Today it was announced that red shirt senior Amile Jefferson and Juniors Grayson Allen and Matt Jones would be the captains for the 2016-17 season. 'According to go duke.com' Last season Allen lead Duke in scoring at 21.6 points per game while also grabbing 4.6 rebounds per game and dishing out 3.5 assists per game.  Matt Jones averaged 10.4 points per game , 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. In five years that Amile has been with Duke he has averaged 6.1 points per game and lead the team in rebounding.
