Duke Opens Practice Before Their Trip To The Dominican Republic
It's odd when the team that plays from November To March or April if you're lucky to get that far starts practice in July. .
But that is whats happening this year as Mike Krzyzewski's team is headed to the Dominican Republic.
With the hoops team headed over to the Dominican Republic for an overseas trip on August 17th, they are allowed ten practices to get ready for the trip. While the rest of the college basketball world (those programs that aren't going overseas) will not start practice until mid-October, Duke got started last week. How will this trip to the Dominican Republic help this young team this season that only has one returning player that got significant playing time last season in senior Grayson Allen? Will it help them build chemistry something that last years team didn't have?
