Defending National Champion North Carolina Releases Their Roster For The 2017-2018 Season
North Carolina who beat Gonzaga in the national title game in Phoenix Arizona at the University Of Phoenix Stadium by a score of 71-65 last season has released their roster for the 2017-2018 campaign.

The defending national champions return eight lettermen from the team that beat Gonzaga for the national title in April. Those returnees include three players with significant starting experience in senior Theo Pinson, senior Joel Berry II, and junior Kenny Williams. Among the eight newcomers on the team are Cameron Johnson, a graduate transfer from the University of Pittsburgh who will have two years of eligibility at UNC. Johnson averaged 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 33 games last year, shooting 41.5 percent from three-point range (78 of 188). He was one of two Panthers to start all 33 games and led Pitt in three-point field goals, three-point percentage, free throw percentage (.811) and steals (31). He scored 583 points in 73 career games for Pitt.
