NC State Routes Chowan In Exhibition
Kevin Keatts second season as the head coach in North Carolina’s state capital got off to a great start.
The NC State men's basketball team made its return to the court in dominant fashion as it defeated Chowan, 111-62, Monday night at PNC Arena. Devon Daniels finished the night with a game-high 22 points in his first outing in a Wolfpack uniform. DJ Funderburk poured in 20 points of his own off of an impressive 7-for-7 shooting performance. The Pack jumped out to an early 10-1 lead in the first 3:41 of the game, scoring seven of its first 10 off of four Hawks turnovers. NC State carried a 61-35 lead into the break and went on to make seven of its first 10 field goal attempts in the second half to extend its lead.
