Following becoming bowl eligible in Head Coach Mike Elko’s inaugural season as Duke’s Head Coach On Duke is hosting Virginia Tech today in Durham.

In the 3rd quarter both Duke, Boston College each scored a touchdown as Jaquez Moore ran for 24 yard touchdown, Todd Pelino kicked extra point to extend Duke’s lead 31-14 before Boston College answered with touchdown of their own as Zay Flowers caught 18 yard pass from Emmett Morehead , Connor Lytton kicked extra point to trim Boston College deficit to 10 at 31-21. In the 4th quarter Jaquez Moore ran for 2 yard touchdown, Todd Pelino kicked extra point extending Duke’s lead over Boston College 38-21 before Boston College scored touchdown as Joseph Griffin Jr. caught 26 yard pass from Emmett Morehead, Connor Lytton kicked extra point to trim Boston College deficit to 10 points at 38-28 before they cut the deficit to 7 with Connor Lyton 34 yard field goal . Though, that would be it as Boston College would score with 17 seconds remaining in the game.

Virginia Tech comes into the game with a record of 2-7 1-5 in the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference because they narrowly lost to Georgia Tech on Saturday 28-27 as Georgia Tech scored twice in the 4th quarter as Zach Pyron ran for yards where the 2 point conversion failed. Before that though in the 1st quarter Dontae Smith ran for 29 yard touchdown, Gavin Stewart kicked extra point to give Georgia Tech a 7-0 lead before Gavin Stewart extended Georgia Tech’s lead to 10-0 with 19 yard field goal.
